Perhaps you plan on spending this day after Thanksgiving shopping, but you’ll likely find me relaxing and sorting through my stash of Jelly Roll™ strips in my sewing room between happily snacking on leftover turkey & fixin’s.

The few fabrics you show for winter scenes are far too few. Although you say that they pay tribute to the olympics, here is a thought for future fabrics. Pay tribute to those of us who enjoy winter’s fun and games. Have some with pictures of skiers, ski jumpers, snow boarders, sledders, ice skaters, snow shoveling, and plowing, generally the way we in the northeast live and play during winter. Please, tell your fabric designers to leave spaces between each illustration so that when cut, the quilter does not have to slice through the image beside the one desired.

Continued: Obtaining pictures of winter time activities should not be difficult as Laconia and the surrounding area are famous for winter time sports as well as summer time sports. I used to water ski on Lake Winnepesauke.
